Name of Participant

At each gathering, we will be doing our best to live together as a family in Christian community. Family life is based on unconditional love, respect, trust, support, and spending time together. Each of us as a member of the family is important. To create and maintain this relationship of family and community, all participants – youth and leaders – agree to the following covenant:

(Please go over this form with your youth and have them initial beside each number after they have read it.)

(1) I understand the importance of always representing myself and my youth group as ambassadors of the high standards of our faith. I will conduct myself as a representative of my family, Trinity Presbyterian Church, and Christians everywhere. I will lead our group in stellar behavior.

(2) I promise to respect God, respect myself, respect other people, and respect property. I understand that my continued participation in church activities depends on my support of this agreement.

(3) I understand that no youth are allowed to go anywhere alone, and that all groups must have an adult with them at all times when they are off church property.

(4) I will be responsible for my own belongings and respect the property of others. I covenant to accept responsibility for my part in all damage and necessary repairs to any host property, including any damage to vehicles in which I am traveling.

(5) I understand that bringing or using illegal drugs, alcohol, weapons, fireworks, tobacco, illegal drugs, alcohol will not be tolerated, and may result in my being sent home immediately. I also will not bring or use vaping products.

(6) I promise to abstain from inappropriate behavior or other acts of disrespect while at youth activities. I will follow the instructions of the adult leaders of our group.

(7) I will abide by the guidelines set by leaders regarding the use of cell phones and personal electronic devices.

(8) I will participate fully in all events as I am able and assist when asked. I will also seek to identify ways in which I can assist as a member of this community.

(9) I will welcome every individual as a member of our community, whether or not they are from Trinity. I will treat other participants, leaders, staff, residents, and personnel with respect at all times.
